Franck & Lohsen is an award-winning architecture firm headquartered in Washington DC, with practices throughout the country. Its beautiful residential, commercial, ecclesiastical, and civic building and landscape design work can be found in South Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, Florida, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Tennessee as well as in the nation's capital.
The firm, whose work can be found in stunning coffee table books from The Classical American House by Philip James Dodd to The Collected Home: Rooms with Style, Grace, and History by Darryl Carter as well as magazines from House Beautiful, Veranda, and Southern Living to Period Homes, Old House Journal, and Washingtonian Magazine, engaged us to help architect Michael Franck's client visualize the luxurious home he had designed for them. The project was important, too, because it was hoped it would help the firm become established in the luxury residential community of Palmetto Bluff.
Together we were successful in the first objective, as the home is under construction at the time of this writing; the second objective will see fruition after the home is completed.
